How can I prepare to receive a Contour Body Wrap treatment?
For best results, drink half your body's weight in ounces of water daily. You mustn't apply any lotions, creams, or perfumes before the wrap appointment. For more comfort during the wrap, we recommend that you use the restroom before the appointment. Women should bring a two-piece swimsuit, and men bring a swimsuit to their appointment to avoid having to use disposable garments provided by the Contour Specialist.
What is the main stimulating and warming ingredient are in Contour?
Niacin, which is a form of vitamin B3, is the main stimulating ingredient.
WHAT KIND OF VISUAL RESULTS CAN I EXPECT FROM a Contour Body Wrap treatment?
You can expect to reduce the appearance of cellulite and improve the texture of the skin. Your skin will appear noticeably firmer and toned. This can be reflected by before and after measurements and/or photographs.
How much weight should I expect to lose during a Contour Body Wrap?
We do not measure weight loss in each wrap but instead noticeably seeing a reduced texture of cellulite. This wrap is not a weight-loss treatment; it is a moisturizing, nourishing, cellulite treatment wrap.
How long should I wait to shower after receiving a Contour Body Wrap?
We recommend waiting 6-8 hours after receiving a body wrap before bathing.
How can I maximize the results?
To assist in the body's natural waste removal process, drink lots of water before and after receiving a CONTOUR BODY WRAP treatment. You can safely drink half your body weight in ounces of water a day. Use the
MAINTAIN lotion every day after a bath or shower. Use the
BUFF body exfoliator before the wrap cream, as well as a minimum of 3 times a week while bathing.
CELL-U-RID may be added to one's daily regime to reduce improper water retention and increase toxin elimination.
Is this a water loss wrap?
No, this is not a water loss wrap. Because of the nature of the contour cream (used during treatment), it assists hydration, causing theappearance of the skin to be more hydrated and look more youthful.
Could someone have an allergic reaction to the contour cream used during the treatment?
Yes, one could have an allergic reaction if their skin is sensitive to cinnamon. Also, if someone has an overabundance of niacin stored in the body (from tanning lotions, energy drinks, pre-workout supplements, etc.), they may have a niacin retention reaction.
What happens if a reaction occurs?
The skin may temporarily become itchy or red. If discomfort continues, one may take an antihistamine, or soak in a baking soda bath.
Should I sweat during a CONTOUR BODY WRAP?
No. One mustn't be too hot and/or sweaty during a wrap, as this can interfere with the skin's proper absorption of the contour cream (used during treatment).
How often can I have a CONTOUR BODY WRAP?
One may have a CONTOUR BODY WRAP every 3-7 days. Having a CONTOUR BODY WRAP more often could cause niacin to build-up in the body resulting in an adverse niacin-retention reaction to the contour cream (used during treatment).
Can anyone receive a CONTOUR BODY WRAP?
While the CONTOUR BODY WRAP is an excellent solution for most, anyone who is pregnant, nursing, using blood thinners, has epilepsy, undergoing cancer treatments, or has not been in remission for the last two years should not receive a body wrap.
I have sensitive skin. Should I be worried about a skin reaction?
M’lis has two formulations for contour cream: Regular and Sensitive. Sensitive is gentler on the skin, yet still allows for the same great results.
